Overview

This License Information page explains how KRYLANE Studio Inc. (“KRYLANE Studio®,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sources, supplies, and licenses premium WordPress themes, Shopify themes, and plugins to our clients. It also outlines what you, as a client, are permitted and not permitted to do with any themes, plugins, or digital products supplied to you through our services.

Additionally, this page covers restrictions on the use of KRYLANE Studio®’s own brand assets, name, and logo by third parties.

Who is this page for?
This page is intended for clients who have purchased or received themes and/or plugins as part of a service package or standalone supply from KRYLANE Studio Inc. If you have questions not answered here, please contact us at hello@krylane.com.

How We Source Themes and Plugins

KRYLANE Studio® purchases all themes and plugins directly from their official vendors and marketplaces under agency-level or developer-level licenses. These license types permit us, as a registered agency, to use the purchased products across multiple client projects while remaining fully compliant with each vendor’s licensing terms.

We do not use nulled, cracked, pirated, or otherwise unauthorized versions of any theme or plugin. Every product we supply is sourced from a legitimate, original vendor.

Platforms and Vendors We Source From
We source products from a range of official platforms and direct vendors, including but not limited to:

  • Envato / ThemeForest: Premium WordPress themes and HTML templates sourced under Envato’s Extended or Agency license terms. (Envato License Terms)
  • CodeCanyon (Envato): Premium WordPress plugins and scripts sourced under Envato’s Regular or Extended license terms. (CodeCanyon License Terms)
  • Direct Plugin Vendors: Plugins such as WPBakery, Elementor Pro, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and others purchased directly from their official websites under agency or developer licenses. (WordPress Terms)
  • Shopify Theme Store & App Developers: Shopify themes purchased through the official Shopify Theme Store, and Shopify apps sourced from official app developers and the Shopify App Store. (Shopify Terms)

The specific theme or plugin supplied to you will be confirmed in your Project Agreement or delivery documentation. If you require confirmation of the source of a specific product, please contact us at hello@krylane.com.

What Your License Covers

When KRYLANE Studio® supplies a theme or plugin to you as part of a project or standalone purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use that product on your designated website or project, as permitted under our agency license with the original vendor.

Your license covers the following:

  • Use on your designated website: You may install and use the supplied theme or plugin on the single website or project for which it was purchased or delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Customization for your project: You may customize the theme or plugin to suit your branding and business needs, either yourself or through KRYLANE Studio® as part of your project scope.
  • Continued use after project completion: You retain the right to continue using the delivered theme or plugin on your website after our engagement ends, subject to the limitations outlined in this page.
  • Updates (where included in your package): If your service package includes ongoing updates, you are entitled to receive theme and plugin updates as they are made available by the original vendor, delivered by KRYLANE Studio® on your behalf. See Section 5 for details.
What Your License Does Not Cover

Your license is limited in scope. The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute a violation of both these Terms and the original vendor’s licensing agreement:

  • Resale or redistribution: You may not resell, sublicense, share, gift, or otherwise distribute the theme or plugin in its original or modified form to any third party.
  • Use on multiple websites: Unless you have purchased a multi-site license directly from us, your license covers one (1) website only. Installing the theme or plugin on additional websites or projects without a separate purchase is not permitted.
  • Transferring to a third party: You may not transfer ownership or usage rights of the theme or plugin to another individual, business, or entity without our prior written consent and coordination with the original vendor.
  • Claiming ownership or authorship: You may not claim to be the original developer or copyright holder of any supplied theme or plugin. Ownership remains with the original vendor at all times.
  • Reverse engineering or extracting source code: You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code of any supplied theme or plugin beyond what is ordinarily accessible through standard use.
  • Use for unlawful purposes: You may not use any supplied theme or plugin in connection with any website or project that promotes unlawful activity, infringes third-party rights, or violates applicable law.

Important: Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your license, removal of support, and potential legal action by KRYLANE Studio® and/or the original vendor. You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from unauthorized use of supplied products.

Updates and Support

Access to theme and plugin updates and technical support after project delivery depends on the service package you have purchased from KRYLANE Studio®. This will be clearly stated in your Project Agreement.

As a general guide:

  • One-Time / Basic Delivery: Updates and ongoing support are not included. The theme or plugin is delivered at the version available at the time of project completion. You are responsible for future updates at your own discretion.
  • Standard Package: Theme and plugin updates may be included for a defined period. Technical support availability varies — refer to your Project Agreement for specifics.
  • Premium / Retainer Package: Ongoing updates and dedicated support are included for the duration of the active retainer agreement.

Where updates are not included in your package, you may request them separately at our prevailing rates. Please note: KRYLANE Studio® is not responsible for compatibility issues, feature changes, or breakages caused by theme or plugin updates applied outside of an active support arrangement.

We also do not provide direct access to the original vendor’s support portal, author account, or purchase code on your behalf, as the license is held under our agency account. If you require direct vendor support access, you will need to purchase your own license directly from the vendor.

Original Vendor License Terms

While KRYLANE Studio® supplies themes and plugins under our agency license, the original vendor’s license terms continue to govern the underlying product. By accepting a theme or plugin supplied by us, you also agree to comply with the relevant vendor’s end-user license agreement (EULA).

KRYLANE Studio® is not responsible for any changes made by vendors to their licensing terms after the date of your product delivery.

No Refunds on Themes and Plugins

All theme and plugin sales and deliveries made by KRYLANE Studio® are final and non-refundable. Due to the digital nature of these products, once a theme or plugin has been delivered, installed, or made accessible to you, no refund or credit will be issued under any circumstances.

We strongly encourage all clients to confirm their requirements, platform compatibility, and intended use case before confirming a theme or plugin purchase through us. Our team is happy to advise prior to purchase contact us at hello@krylane.com.

KRYLANE Studio® Brand and Logo Usage

The KRYLANE Studio® name, logo, registered trademark (®), brand assets, color schemes, and visual identity are the exclusive intellectual property of KRYLANE Studio Inc. Unauthorized use of our brand assets is strictly prohibited.

What is Permitted
  • Referring to KRYLANE Studio® by name in factual statements, such as “Website built by KRYLANE Studio®,” where you are a client crediting our work. (Allowed)
  • Linking to krylane.com from your website or social media as a reference or credit to your web development partner. (Allowed)
  • Mentioning KRYLANE Studio® in testimonials, reviews, or case studies relating to your own project experience. (Allowed)
What is Not Permitted
  • Using the KRYLANE Studio® name, logo, or trademark in any way that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written consent. (Not Allowed)
  • Reproducing, modifying, or incorporating our logo or brand assets into your own marketing materials, website, or products. (Not Allowed)
  • Using our brand name or likeness to promote competing services or create a misleading impression about your relationship with us. (Not Allowed)
  • Registering domain names, social media handles, or business names that include “KRYLANE” or any confusingly similar variation. (Not Allowed)
  • Using our brand assets in any context that is defamatory, misleading, offensive, or contrary to applicable law. (Not Allowed)

To request written permission to use KRYLANE Studio® brand assets for a specific purpose, please contact us at hello@krylane.com with details of the intended use. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

All original content on the KRYLANE Studio® website — including text, graphics, UI design, illustrations, and code — is the property of KRYLANE Studio Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish any content from our website without prior written permission.
  • Scrape, extract, or automate access to content or data from our website.
  • Use our website content for commercial purposes without explicit authorization.

Limited, non-commercial use (such as quoting a sentence with proper attribution for educational or review purposes) may be acceptable. If in doubt, please ask us first.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Themes and plugins supplied by KRYLANE Studio® are provided in the condition received from the original vendor. We make no additional warranties express or implied regarding their fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with all environments, or freedom from bugs or vulnerabilities beyond what the original vendor warrants.

KRYLANE Studio® is not the original developer of any third-party theme or plugin we supply and cannot be held responsible for defects, security vulnerabilities, or discontinued support on the part of the original vendor.

Changes to This Page

We may update this License Information page from time to time to reflect changes in our sourcing practices, vendor relationships, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any such changes.

Continued use of themes, plugins, or other products supplied by us after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms on this page.
